We would love to see everyone in our church apart of a healthy Connect Group. Our team is passionate about getting people in groups, starting new groups and getting them healthy.
Connect Groups are three or more people who meet together regularly to balance the five purposes. That is, Fellowship, Maturity, Ministry, Mission, & Worship.

Connect Groups create a space for people to intentionally share their lives with others, grow spiritually together, and encourage each other through the highs and lows of life. A Connect Group HOST determines how often their group meets and what the focus of the group is. Connect Groups gather in homes, coffee shops, and other places where people love to connect.
First, give yourself a high five for taking the step to join a Connect Group! Here are several easy ways to get connected:
- Visit our website or open up our church app. If your on the website navigate to Next Steps / Connect Groups / Find A Group – To see all current available options.
- If you open the church app just select the Connect Groups tab to see all current available groups.
- Talk to someone you know who leads a Connect Group and ask if their group is open to new members.
Every Connect Group is unique. Some discuss the weekend message, some use bible teaching through Right Now Media, others use study books, while some just open the Bible and read together.
Some Connect Groups are activity based, couples or groups of people will go out bowling together, or grab a meal. While others may get together and volunteer in a service project. Some groups may gather for board games. No matter what group you find yourself two things will always be happening, relationship growth & conversations to to encourage you to trust in Jesus.
Absolutely! It’s understandable to want to find people you feel comfortable opening up to and developing friendships with. That being said, if you’ve joined a Connect Group and aren’t sure if it’s the right fit for you, don’t give up. Keep in mind that there’s no such thing as a perfect Connect Group because there are no perfect people. Remember to have grace and patience during the process. If it’s clear that this group isn’t the best fit for you, though, give another group a try.
This might be a sign that God is calling you to start a group! If God’s placed a certain passion or calling within you, He might want you to take a step of faith and launch a Connect Group around it. You won’t have to do this alone, though. Your Discipleship Pastor & team is here to support you every step of the way.
First, fill out our Volunteer Application. After that, your Discipleship Pastor / team will reach out to help you prepare to lead your group. Then, you can invite people to your group and start meeting!
Don’t worry—you don’t have to a Bible scholar to Host a Connect Group! We have lots of great resources to make Hosting a group as easy as possible, including conversation topics for your group, content to go through, tips for new Hosts, and resources to help you develop and grow as a leader. You’ll also be connected to Connect Group Host, who will be there to support you with prayer, resources, and encouragement along the way.
