Foster Family Fun Nights

A night of fun and respite for the

whole family

Fostering is a hard but blessed calling and we want to walk along aside of those who foster. Many of these children often feel abandoned, lonely, forgotten and unloved. We want to love on these kids and show everyone- kids and parents- that they are not alone, abandoned or forgotten. We want them to know that there is a God in Heaven who created them and loves them.

Foster Family Fun Nights is a way to provide love and support to the whole family. Once a month, we want to provide a night of fun and rest.

Are you a foster family?

Morning Star Fellowship Church admires the hard work you do to help your foster children feel loved and cared for and we want to help you! Join us starting for our Foster Family Fun Nights (aka Respite Nights)!

Bring your children to our Pennsburg Campus and enjoy a good homecooked meal (that you don’t have to cook or clean up after!) and a time to talk with other foster parents and a counselor who will help you walk through the challenges of foster parenting. Or sit in a nice quiet room and read a book with a cup of coffee.

It’s up to you!

Meanwhile, your kids will be served a kid-friendly dinner and they will be having a ton of fun playing games, doing crafts and other fun activities. We’re excited to have you! Foster Family Fun Nights are free, but you must register ahead of time! Thank you!

Want to help?

Help us to love and support the foster family community! There are lots of ways for you to get involved.

First and foremost, please pray for these families. Pray especially that these kids who have been through
some really rough situations would feel the love and peace of Jesus Christ.

You can help with signing kids and families in, playing gym games with all the children, or
you can spend your time with a particular age group for games, crafts and other fun activities.
You can play with toddlers or hold babies. We’ll be serving dinner, so you can help in the
kitchen with preparing and serving the meal. We also need experienced counselors or other qualified individuals to facilitate the parents’ group.

We will also need some supplies to make these nights super fun for the kids, so if you’re able to
make a financial contribution, that would also be much appreciated.
