Day 2: Build Your Life on Truth
Day 2: Build Your Life on Truth
Main Scripture
Ephesians 1:3
“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in heavenly places in Christ.”
Devotional Thought
What you build your life upon will eventually determine the direction of your life. In today’s world, people build their identity on many things: money, success, popularity, relationships, achievements, possessions, but all of those things can change overnight. Paul reminds believers in Ephesians that our true identity is not found in this world; it is found in Christ. Before we ever achieved anything, God had already blessed us spiritually through Jesus. That means our peace is not tied to: the economy, our bank account, other people’s opinions, or temporary success. As believers, we must learn to build our lives on truth instead of emotions, fear, or comparison.
The enemy constantly tries to attack our thinking because he knows that wrong beliefs eventually produce wrong living. That’s why sound doctrine matters. Truth doesn’t just inform us — it transforms us. When we continually fill our hearts with the Word of God, fear loses its grip, insecurity weakens, comparison fades, and faith grows stronger. God never intended for His people to live defeated, hopeless, or constantly anxious about the future. His Word renews our minds and reminds us who we are in Him. You are not abandoned. You are not forgotten. You are not spiritually empty. In Christ, you have been blessed with every spiritual blessing. Build your life on the truth that produces godliness.
