Q'Kids Children's Ministry

Kids 1st thru 5th grade

Kidmo is where our 1st through 5th graders have their Sunday morning service. Excitement starts from the minute you arrive. Our service starts with worship. Then we jump right into our video lesson hosted by our own emcee. If you listen you will definitely hear us getting wound up. The kids are answering questions about the lesson, learning scripture and finally winding down with small group discussions. All of our morning is about the teachings of Jesus and how to apply it to our daily lives. Pastor Josh and Amanda Detweiler lead this ministry.

Q'Tots ages 4 through Kindergarten

Children are a priority to us! Dawn Schmitt is the head teacher of this class, and she does an OUTSTANDING job!
Filled with love for the kids, they are engaging in creative ways to learn about God and trusting in Him. We are currently using HEART SHAPER Curriculum from Standard Publishers.

Q'Tips Class, ages 2-3

Leane and Fred Kratzer serve as Head Teachers of this very cute and active group. Lessons are interwoven during play and snack time. We are currently using HEART SHAPER Curriculum from Standard Publishing.

Nursery / Birth to 2 years

Every parent wants to be sure their children are safe and secure when they leave them in someones elses care. At Morning Star Fellowship we provide you with the assurance you need to enjoy your time away. Upon your arrival, you will be asked to register your child. Then you will recevie a corresponing number that we use, should we need to reach you during the service. You will also use that number to pick up your child following the service. Our nursery is a very attractive room filled with toys and love. Erin Reynolds serves as Nursery Coordinator and oversees all our nursery procedures.

	What can I expect? As a parent, you will be asked to sign-in your child and then you will receive a keychain bracelet that will have "number" on it that coordinates with your child. This number is used to pick-up your child and also used if we would need to reach you during the service. Back to Top
	Are your teachers screened? Yes they are. We do background checks on all our volunteers who work with childen and or youth. Back to Top
