John Decker (Lead Pastor) and his wife Theresa (Administrator) have served in the ministry since 1980. They are the proud parents of two sons. Jordan is a Elementary Education major at Eastern University in St Davids, PA, but can also be found playing drums on most Sundays here at Morning Star Fellowship. Jon, a gifted musician, leads a band called "THE MINT", and is 26. Also, he lives in Lancaster, PA with his beautiful wife Erin and their daughter, Addison.

John grew up in the suburbs of Detroit and Theresa in the suburbs of Pittsburgh. They met while at Southeastern Universtiy in Lakeland Florida and have lived in Pennsylvania ever since! Both John and Theresa enjoy watching sports, (especially watching Jordan play basketball) and are also fans of the Eagles and Phillies. They also enjoy travel, spending time with a good book and coffee at Barnes and Noble, or hanging out with friends.

Leading the ministry of Morning Star Fellowship in Quakertown has proven to be an exciting undertaking. Wanting people to become authentic followers of Jesus is their passion. Keeping it "real" is the theme at Morning Star. It is their deepest desire to help people fulfill their destiny by finding their purpose in knowing Christ.

Larry Serge (Worship Leader) and Leslie Serge (Women's Ministry Leader) are from the Quakertown area. They are the proud parents of Nikki, a physician's assistant major at DeSales University, and Tony, a graphic designer for Rodale Inc.

They joined the staff of Morning Star Fellowship in April 2006 and have been a tremendous blessing. Before coming to Morning Star Fellowship, Larry was a traveling music ministry evangelist and Leslie was actively involved as a teacher of women's Bible studies. Some people know Larry and Leslie as former gym owners here in Quakertown (Serge's Health Club). Both Larry and Leslie are passionate about spiritual and physical health.

They are thrilled with what God is doing here at Morning Star Fellowship. Their greatest desire is to see people come to know Christ in a real and personal way and then to watch them grow in their faith by applying God's Word in their lives.

Josh Detweiler (Student Ministries Pastor) joined the full-time staff of Morning Star Fellowship in May 2007.

Josh and Amanda served as student interns at Morning Star Fellowship during the summer of 2006 and became a wonderful addition to the team. Josh graduated from Valley Forge Christian College in May 2007 and Amanda will graduate in May 2008. Both Josh and Amanda are from Connecticut.

Fonda Mann has been working part-time at Morning Star Fellowship since January 2008. .She is responsible for creating the bulletin, sermon notes, and media slides. Her normal days at Morning Star are Thursday and Friday.  Fonda and her husband John also lead the prayer ministry at Moring Star.
