On Thursday, June 17th, we met with the zoning board of Quakertown as they reviewed our building plans, scrutinized our exemption request, and asked us numerous questions before casting their vote. The outcome is all good! It's a go! Everything was approved, and we can build right here on 9th and Main.

This is definitely a God-thing. He has His plan and His purposes. He has ordained that His kingdom be built, and He is allowing us the privilege of partnering with Him so that many may come to know the love and life of Jesus Christ.

The outcome of the board meeting was the first hurdle. In the near future we will raise money, secure financing, get bids from builders, put a project manger in place and hopefully (in the biblical sense) break ground next year. So, right now I'm asking you to continue praying. We must walk this whole process out on our knees (so to speak). Every idea, every decision, and every step must be done through prayer. Every dollar raised must be done with people's souls in mind. Yes, it is all about Jesus.

Several people who have been invaluable to the Build for L.I.F.E. campaign include our architect Rich Kapusta of RK&Co, who has done a fantastic job, and our civil engineer Scott Mease. He is on top of everything! Thank you guys so, so much. By the way, these guys are real men of God.

Our nation may be in an economic downturn, but once again, God keeps helping us reach people. More and more people are calling Morning Star Fellowship their home. And this building, this facility, this tool for worship and making followers of Christ is way too small, so I along with you sincerely believe God is going to provide all that is necessary for us to build. Right at this very moment as we are beginning our campaign, there are many congregations such as ours across the nation who in this economy are raising millions of dollars so they can continue to bring life to their communities proving again that Jesus Christ is Lord over the economy, our lives, finances, our needs . . . everything.

I'm sincerely asking you to begin to ask God about your financial commitment to the Build for L.I.F.E. campaign, and let’s continue to experience the miracle that is taking place right here in Quakertown.
