Be Kids Children’s Ministry of Morning Star Fellowship exists to show Christ to kids by providing a safe place where they feel they belong, can grow and become children of God, and where they can just be kids in a world that has been pushing them to grow up too fast. We invite you to join us every Sunday morning at the 9:30 a.m. and the 11:30 a.m. services. The children’s ministry is under the leadership of Amanda Detweiler, the children’s ministry director.

Infant Nursery
The infant nursery is for children birth through 3 years old (who are not potty trained). We are currently using a wonderful curriculum called FirstLook and even at their young age the children here will sing along with praise songs and begin to hear their first bible stories. As they are learning the children will also be kept fed, changed, and napped. The head teacher of this class is Tereasa Leight.

3 years (potty trained) through Kindergarten
This class is for children 3 years old through completed Kindergarten. This class is following a fantastic curriculum called FirstLook where they will learn these  three basic truths: God made me, God loves me, and Jesus wants to be my friend forever through various Bible stories, hands-on activities, and meaningful worship. The head teachers of this class are Barb Layton and Fred and Leane Kratzer.

1st through 5th-Graders
This group is for children who are entering 1st grade through 5th grade. Here the kids will transition out of the classroom setting and into a service setting where they prepare to experience the church service as teens and adults. In this class we are currently using a very active curriculum called 252 Basics where the children will learn these three basic truths: I need to make the wise choice, I can trust God no matter what, and I should treat others the way I want to be treated. The children learn through powerful and meaningful worship, understanding and applying God's Word and taking home challenges to further apply what they've learned in their everyday lives.  The head teacher of this class is Amanda Detweiler.
